Boomerang Bully Prevention Program for children 5 to 10 years old.
For the younger children (5 to 10 years), 20 lessons are recorded on a DVD with songs, poems, stories and a practical applications after each lesson to enforce what the DVD ‘teacher’ had taught.
This dynamic program enables young children to prevent bullying by practicing before the time to stand up for themselves.
The children are guided step-for–step to become assertive by portraying a confident posture, facial expression, making eye contact, knowing how to deflect verbal insults, assertive communication and to think empowering thoughts. Many real-life situations give them the opportunity to practise these skills.
Perpetrators learn why they behave aggressively and are led to accept responsibility to change by learning successful methods to deal with fear and anger and resolve conflict.

Boomerang Bully Prevention Program for Teenagers.
The version for teenagers has two sections: Victims and Bullies. It is imperative that both sections are worked through even if the participant is seen as either a bully or a victim. To give a few reasons, in the bully section, it is taught how to be assertive and if a bully can be assertive he or she does not have to regress to aggressive behaviour to be heard. Also in the bully section the victim will benefit to learn how to solve problems and understand why he or she finds it difficult to ignore bullying.
In 20 lessons, teenagers are guided step-by-step to become assertive by portraying a confident posture, facial expression, making eye contact, knowing how to deflect verbal insults, assertive communication and how to think empowering thoughts. They practice to be resilient.
Anger and resultant aggressive behaviour causes bullying. In another 20 lessons, perpetrators learn why they behave aggressively and understand their fears.
They are led to accept responsibility to change by solving conflict in acceptable ways.
Bullies learn the advantages to themselves if bullying stops. (No other bullying programs addressed this motivational issue at the time of writing.)
Ex-bullies experience rewarding changes through practical exercises.
The children are made aware of the devastating influence of bullying and identify ideal behaviour.
